I stopped in for lunch and sat at at the bar. The bartender Katie was very friendly. She served me an ice cold Goose Island Oktoberfest ($7) with a super tender medium cooked steak wrap with spicy mayo stuffed with fork tender broccolini and a side salad ($17- fries can be substituted ).
It was a nice lunch with great conversation with an interesting super nice bartender and a local bar guest.
I will return. -

Decent restaurants are few and far in between in Croton on Hudson, so much hope was riding on 105 Twenty Bar & Grill when it replaced Tagine last year.
I am pleased to say that 105 Twenty seems to be a significant improvement over Tagine. It's less expensive and more reliable. Apparently, other people agree, as the place was about 3/4 full on a Tuesday night.
My friend and I sat at the bar, because the din in the main dining area is formidable. The bar was like a library in comparison.
Our bartender was super friendly and nice. My friend got the $12 raspberry prosecco fizz, and I got the $12 cucumber mint tea. No, that's not a typo -- twelve bucks! Cheers!
Sadly, the raspberry prosecco fizz was very watery. Too much club soda. I told the bartender (much to my friend's chagrin -- she hates making a fuss) and he promptly topped off her drink with a generous splash of prosecco. All better! Yay!
It took another 10 minutes for my drink to come -- the bartender was waiting for pint glasses. When it did come, it was delicious -- a dominant green tea flavor with undernotes of mint, lemon and cucumber. The vodka was definitely in there somewhere too, because I had a nice buzz going after the second one. But they ran out of cucumber vodka and replaced it (with my permission) with a citron vodka, so the second one didn't have that refreshing cucumber flavor.
We shared the grilled scallops to start. Scallops were done right, and the parsnip puree was a creamy accompaniment. Puree was a little bland -- I get that you don't want to overwhelm the mild taste of the scallops but maybe a dash of nutmeg or some garlic or even salt/pepper would help?
My friend gave her signature burger a thumbs up. Hard to go wrong with melted brie cheese and bacon jam. I ate some of her fries, which were perfectly crispy, thin, salty.
I got the tuna tacos, which were done with Asian instead of Mexican flavors. Beautifully seared tuna with crunchy Asian slaw and notes of sesame oil and wasabi on a flour tortilla. Delish. Bartender said it's the most popular dish on the menu and I can see why.
105 Twenty is the sister restaurant to 105 Ten in Briarcliff, with a similar vibe and menu. The owner was having dinner with his family the night we went and he told us he's opening another spot in Bronxville sometime this year, even though the zip code -- 10708 -- doesn't really work for his naming protocol. I'm sure he'll think of something.
I will definitely be back. Hopefully, they will have stocked up on pint glasses and cucumber vodka by that time. -

Initial thoughts was that this is a typical bar where you can get a drink and have average bar food. That wasn't the case at all. I came for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. They have a "make your own salad" type thing where you check off on a card everything you want on the salad. I got a bunch of different ingredients and my choice of protein was salmon.
The salad was fresh, refreshing, light, and salmon was just the right portion for the salsd. Salmon was cooked beautifully with crunchy skin and flaky/tender meat. We also ordered an appetizer of Calamari with fried jalapenos but that was just ok.
It was all positive here. No complaints and I would definitely be back. It has a spacious interior where you can sit comfortably and enjoy! Have fun! -

The short: great new spot opened Dec 2018 in Croton! We came on the second night it was opened for appetizers and drinks... and were really pleased with the food and service!
The longer: our friends are very, very excited that this spot opened in town. There's a big bar with bar seating and high tops when you first walk-in... and tons of people were eating and drinking in that area. In the back there are tables, TVs & a long high top table.
The menu is pretty expansive -- we had the short rib sliders, mussels, arugula salad, scallops & asparagus & the kids had grilled cheese and Mac & cheese. Some of the food came out a little cold, and we always had to ask for additional plates/utensils/napkins, but the food was consistently good.. and we'd definitely come back here to try the fuller dinner!
Exited to see this spot in the neighborhood. -

Don't usually like knocking things down a star and maybe I'm just super picky. The good - Came for brunch. Very good menu. A lot of choices so everyone could get something different. Greek yogurt and granola was amazing. Really nice and well presented. Drinks were only okay. My Bloody Mary had too much horseradish (for me) and could have had a more inspiring garnish (shrimp? Bacon?). I got the sunnyside mainly because it said it came with asparagus. Well it did COME with it but only a veeery small piece cut up unit tinier pieces and sprinkled on my eggs. Not expected. I was very disappointed. French toast was a little uninspired. The eggs benny looked good.
Service was okay-we had a trainee and I always try to cut them a break, everyone has to have a first day. Slow. Our food did not come out at the same time but not the servers fault. One friend waited too long.
All in all will def go back.
